RetailClub had a bold vision for its inaugural AI Deepdive Retreat in Huntington Beach, CA. — an immersive, outdoor festival for retail’s most forward-thinking minds. No traditional venue. No conventional playbook. Just an empty beach-side parking lot and an ambitious idea.
Studio Blue was brought in not as the AV vendor — but as the full production house, general contractor, creative producer, logistics engine, and AV experts all in one.
With a 72-hour window to transform raw pavement into a fully functioning festival, Studio Blue mobilized a 70-person crew and handled every invisible complexity behind the scenes:
No detail was too small. No complexity was too big.
A beachside parking lot isn’t a venue — it’s a blank slate. Every element had to be designed, permitted, and built from scratch in a matter of weeks.
30 tents, 5 stages, 5 LED walls, turf, power, sanitation. A 70-person crew had 72 hours to flip raw pavement into a fully functioning festival.
Studio Blue wasn’t hired as an AV vendor. They were the production house, general contractor, logistics engine, and AV lead — all in one.
RetailClub’s first-ever AI Deepdive Retreat. 500 retail industry leaders expecting something they’d never seen before.
Once the environment was built, the content took center stage. Five concurrent workshops, expert-led talks, small-group Breakthru Sessions, and networking experiences ran simultaneously across the four-day retreat.
Studio Blue kept every element running seamlessly, so 500 retail leaders could soak up what they came for: real conversations, real connections, real insight.
